This yarn is obviously very much _thick and thin_, and since a friend and I struggled to find a knitted structure that made it justice, it was a lucky coincidence that the same day I found it, I stumbled on this Quick Knit knitting loom - in the crafts store, next door to the _bookshop_ Adlibris, where I was actually supposed to _only_ pick up a book but obviously couldn‘t resist these cozy skeins, on sale of course!

I‘ve since seen that it‘s recommended to use yarn that suitable for 6mm needles and upwards - or to use double held yarn - on this Quick Knit loom, but I think this airy Twisted Figure 8 structure shows off the yarn quite well. However, when I found that other random tutorial, I didn’t know there might have been an even better choice as described here: The Figure 8? At the moment the downside is that this scarf / cowl will be even more sensitive to getting caught on any buttons or other things sticking out …

I love the colors and the cowl feels like a soft hug around your neck.

Last but not least, the knitting loom has been a very welcome discovery for me, since I‘ve been struggling with inflamed underarms lately (though certainly not from intense knitting this time ) and I‘m really amazed at how many different techniques and design ideas that are available - not the least here!
