I‘m using this free pattern for a garter cowl to convert the Moonraker pattern into something _for me_ more wearable, as I‘ve noticed that those pretty shawls in my drawer often get stood up when I grab an „easy going“ cowl instead.

I do like the look of this, but it feels like spring is in the air and I want to play with more summery projects for now! grimacing

As I finally got back to this I realized I had better knit this in a tube instead, as I have noticed that cowls with a reverse side can be a bit fidgety to style, especially when you want to quickly switch from thre wraps to to two.

Also, I feel like I‘m wasting time constantly turning the work over when I could just continue in the round and hide the mess in the back.

I could have switched to using this desrciption as a base for the Moonraker stitch, but I’m not sure if I‘ll continue with it or search out another pattern …
