Cast on 95 on size 6 needles. Knit 1 and 1/4 inches. Increase 4 stitches next round. Change to size 7 needles and work in Knit 10 Purl 1 pattern around until total length is 7 inches. Begin decreasing pattern, adjusting for extra stitches. Changed to green stash yarn for top.

The hat is fairly densely knit. I love it. The green stem is perfect. I hope I’ll get a photo to post of Marie wearing it!
