I used cashmere I recycled from a sweater. For Ben’s bear I dyed it with Wilton brown food coloring. Held five strands together.

I followed the pattern exactly. I used double pointed wood needles. I had the front of the bear stitches on one needle and the back stitches were divided between two needles.

The first row is the hardest.

I used recycled cashmere to stuff the bears. I also knit the vests out of recycled cashmere.

I finished the second bear in about a week, but I was knitting on another project at the same time.
