This has been on and off the needles for the past 10 years. It was originally meant for my old queen sized bed, but I’ve since upgraded to a king.
Luckily I have a niece who needs a blanket, so my labour of love will be adopted by a worthy recipient.

This is a basic log cabin pattern.
I found the seams on the back uncomfortable next to my skin, and it’s also not attractive. Not to mention all the ends that I would REALLY rather not have to sew in.
To counteract this, I got some faux-fur and used the border around the blanket to secure it.
Finished off with care instruction label, and it’s FINALLY finished.
