Inspired by Jean-Luc’s sweater in Episode 2 of Picard. The moment I saw that sweater, I knew it was a matter of time before I cast on.

I’m always down for miles of plain knitting in the round, but having half the sweater in cable, and half plain knit kept things interesting without the tedium of all cables or all knits.

Modifications include:

• Changing the ribbing on the sides from 2x2 to 1x1
• Using an 8-stitch lattice cable on the front.
• Increasing number of stitches on front to make up for the tightness of the cabling
