Saw this knitted up in this red fuzzy yarn at my LYS and recognized the pattern. I like how this pattern in the light weight yarn (literally weight, not in warmth) stands up a bit. Tried it on and it fit okay, but thinking it would be better just a touch longer.
Made it thru the first 30 rows of pattern.
I tried provisional cast on 2 times. The first time, I did it right and knit a few rows. Decided 10.5 needle was too big so started over. The second time, my waste yarn came out, so I had to start over. Third time casting on, I just did long tail. I can’t start this over and over again.
My first time doing cables and it’s pretty cool.

First skein knit. I made it thru 3 repeats on the first skein. I think I want to do more than 4. Have to decide if it will be 5 or 6. I think it’s looking pretty good so far. Piece measures 15 inches.
Took off about 10 days from knitting to try to heal my tendonitis. Otherwise, would have gotten to this point much sooner!

Finished 4 repeats.

Uploaded a picture of the scarf with 4 repeats, just held together with my hand. Would like it a bit looser. Going to do one more for a total of 5.

5 Repeats done. Piece measures 25 inches.
Added 2 more rows, bound off, then invisible seamed it closed. I think the size came out perfect. It would definitely be better if I had done the provisional cast on and kitchnered it closed. If I make it again, I will do that. 35 yards / 14 grams of yarn left.
