I liked Sarah’s patterns so I chose her hat.

I decided to cast on with two different colors and make a 1” rib at the bottom of the hat (7 or 8 rows). I wanted the hat to stay on. Two rows of garter stitches would probably not due for the active people that I knit for.

I knit up to 6-3/4” and then started decreasing the crown with a row or purling between each decrease row.

Very happy with the results. I tried the hat on a man and it fit!
