some extra notes:
i was making this for a 2 year old, so i followed the pattern for the 12 month size using a heavier weight yarn than the pattern calls for. it worked well, except the armholes turned out ginormous, so i had to add panels to the sides. if i did it again, i would leave out the last two garter ridge repeats, and knit the main body longer.

8/27~ends woven, buttons on, it’s finished! i think i may more proud of this project than any other so far.

8/26~i’m all done except for the finishing/weaving in of ends, etc. this yarn was an absolute dream to work with and the pattern is sooper easy and adorable! i made some minor changes-- i made the purl ridges only 2 rows instead of 3, and in the top section, i did not twist the M1 increases so i got tiny eyelets along the raglan shaping. i think it turned out cute!
