I realized last winter that I didn’t have a single black hat, so this is my first one.

I added about 6 inches of ribbing to the bottom, as well as about 3 inches of extra stockinette to make a larger hat that I can fold the brim up on and still be able to fit my hair in there and cover my ears still. Pretty great.

Used a different method of jogless stripes that I’ve used a few times before and really like. I’m not sure where I saw it, but I think I ended up adapting a few different methods into my own. I should blog it. :D
