Used 12.0mm Lykke needles. Found the grip of wooden needles helped a lot.
Used 4.5mm Signature needles for the ribbing. I did have to go down one size from the recommended needle.

I highly recommend doing a bigger than usual swatch for this. First, it’s going to change a bit in the blocking. Second, it might take a while to get the rhythm. Third, due the 12mm needle size, it won’t be easy to go smaller (10mm) or bigger (15mm) so you want to make sure you are comfortable before you start the sweater. In this pattern you are:

• Stranding
• Holding two strands of yarn of very different weights in at least one hand (both if using the LBA)
• Working the herringbone stitch, which involves some knitting TBL whilst doing all the above
• Using needles that I refer to as broomstick handles.

It’s a very fun and very different knit. A bit of a challenge but totally worth it since you get an amazing fabric.
