Making a corner to corner Tunisian blanket for my queen size bed. This is my second Tunisian crochet project.

I didn’t realize I did one row in the wrong direction. I amazed myself by not ripping it out, I will consider it my “signature” design element. It will be 20 squares wide and 24 rows long. I got an approximate 4” square by crocheting a corner to corner stopping at 39 stitches on a 3.5mm Tunisian crochet hook. I am using 9” straight hook, couldn’t quite work out using a corded hook because of the way I crochet.
3/18/22 - 11 of 24 rows done
3/31/22 - half way (if I don’t count the border)
05-16-2022 -
finished row 13 of 24
7/2/22 just wove in ends of row 15, seems longer than I thought, will get to 20 and see if I like the length….
8/1/22 started row 17 yesterday
9/3/22 finished row 17, it’s a marathon not a race

Just finished row 19, put it on my bed and decided I need 6 more rows.
1/14/23
Almost done with row 20. Looks like 6 more rows will be a proper bedspread size (includes fold over pillows). My son BETTER keep this heirloom after I kick the bucket.
