Lovely pattern to use up scraps of yarn in my stash. Takes an ounce and a half of yarn to knit one. I added 10 stitches to the width of the pattern and dropped one repeat either side for the padded hangers, which are about 16”x 4 1/2” The pattern fits the wooden hangers, which are 17”x 3”
I bought them in the UK. I couldn’t find any here, on line or in store, so went with these padded ones for my daughter.
Finished today, loved making the little flower pom-poms. I used a fork and wrapped the yarn around approx 30 times before tying them off.
I love this pattern it’s so old fashioned. I have a hanger my Gran made me I’ve had it for as long as I can remember, …as you can tell I’m just a bit sentimental!
