I’m using the Teddy sweater pattern to put the puppy face on from Sargantana Formenterenca’s Puppy love. http://www.ravelry.com/projects/SaSargantana/save-the-bab.... She has wonderful notes which were a huge help, and a template.
I hadn’t quite realized …I’ve never done intarsia in the round, and then I found after the first round all the yarn was on the wrong side so I’d have to wrap turn and purl back…haha so funny I should have figured that one out!
The wrap turn and raglan increase fell at the same point so I altered the raglan increase from knitting front and back into the first stitch, to knit 1 then make 1. I moved the wrap turn under the arm after I’d finished the raglan.
I’m starting the puppy face tomorrow so I’ll see how that goes.
I’m making the size 2 sweater and started the puppy face
3 3/4” down from the start of the neck.
I got some really large stitches where I was changing colour either one stitch forward or back from the stitch underneath. This helped a lot.

I still have some loose stitches I had better luck with the technique on the purl side.
I put a little red heart on the back, Isaac just started walking and runs full tilt everywhere …I thought a little flash of red might give Jenn a chance to spot him before he disappears! I added the little red tongue to the front to add some colour and a red button at the neck.
Really fun project, I’ve a lot to learn about intarsia maybe just more practise.
