Really quick knit finished in a few hours, just need to sew the ends in.
Josephine has a school uniform, but they can wear their own wooly hats to school, as long as it’s navy blue. She phoned and asked if I’d knit her a beret with a pom pom on top, her school hat is really itchy, how could I resist!
Loved this pattern, I used Vanna’s choice yarn and after swatching found I had to come down to 5mm needle to get gauge.
Sewed in a little red heart button on the inside where no one can see, a little hug from grandma!

Hat weighs just slightly over 2oz without pompom…getting approx 1 child sized hat and one child sized mitten from 1 ball of Vanna’s choice + 1 pompom.
