Using helical knitting to blend 3 skeins of Chili Cocoa for MC and Airstream as CC. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Finished the yoke this evening. Gosh, it’s gorgeous! Used 36 g of Airstream for the yoke. 87g, 88g and 90g still left of the Chili Cocoa. Which means I used a total of 74g of Chili Cocoa so far. I estimate I have enough to make the remainder of the sweater.

Finally had a chance to try on the yoke and start on knitting the body section of the sweater. Loving this color combo so much!

3.5” (as measured from under the arm) completed today.
12/07/2019
Another 2” completed on the body for 5.5” total so far.
71g, 69g and 71g left of the Chili Cocoa = 54g per 5.5” of body.

6.5” today! #knittingandnetflix
51g, 53g and 53g left. 108g used for 12” of body (42” circumference). I’ve calculated I need a minimum of 41g/sleeve.
12/11/2019
2” more for 14” total of plain stockinette. 44g, 47g, and 47g left.
12/13/2019
Worked until 15” from underarm CO edge. 42g, 44g, and 44g left. Then worked 1” ribbing using US 4’s then BO in pattern using US 5’s. 39g, 41g, and 39g left.

Started on the right sleeve with 16” circulars and helical knitting. Shortly after starting decreases, I realized I needed 9”-10” circulars because I was getting a lot of laddering with the DPNs.
12/30/2019
Finished first sleeve. Much better results with the short circulars. Knit 17” instead of 15” from underarm before starting ribbing or else the sleeves would have been too short. 24g, 26g, 24g left. 45g total used to knit sleeve.
12/31/2019
Started second sleeve and got over half of it done today!
01/01/2020
Done! Just needs ends woven in and blocking. 8g, 10g and 9g left. 47g total used on left sleeve.
