To make this hyperbolic plane, I cast on 12 chain stitches and crocheted for 19 rows. The final row contains 383 stitches and measures 1.9 metres in length. The whole plane is made up of 2,240 stitches.

(You can calculate all of these numbers using a geometric series where the first term in the series is the number of chain stitches you cast on and the common ratio is the increase you used: in other words if you increase one stitch every N stitches, the ratio is N+1/N.)
