Lovely pattern, and one I think I’ll make again.

ETA: I followed the maths through and it works out if you chain 113 in the first row, for 114 scs in the first row, you then get 149 dcs in the second row and it works.

I think there’s a numerical error in the pattern though.

If in row 1 you have 115 sc, then following the pattern you should have:

“Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), turn. Dc in same sc as turning, dc in next sc,”
(3 dc so far, and 113 sc remaining)

“* 2 dc in next sc. dc in next 2 dc. Rep from * across row”

The repeat is 3 stitches long, so you can do it 37 times and have one stitch remaining before the last stitch. So that’s (111+37+2)=150 dc into those 112 sc.
(153 dc so far, 1 sc remaining)

“2 dc in last st”
153+2= 155 dc.

For the pattern to work out you need to have a multiple of 8 +5 stitches on row 2, so you can have an odd number of loops on row 3, so I pulled back a little bit and added a couple of extra dcs for 157dcs, giving me 39 loops.
