Because I have two final papers to work on, the startitis hits hard! Probably not starting these TODAY, but I DO need new hand warmers since a mitten got lost last year, and I’ve been admiring these since at least 2017 thanks to a Mastodon contact who had theirs in their avatar.

Gonna be a rare fluff-to-finished project for me - most of my handspun is either still sitting around as yarn or has been handed in for evaluations. I can add these to my portfolio should I ever manage to finish the OHS project.

Progress:
Mitten one done
Mitten 2 - frogged and restarted, as I’d not noticed I wound the second hank from the other other (both ends are similar - not same - blue). Didn’t catch on until the 2nd colour was “wrong” about 1/3 of the way in - blah.

Leaving tonight with the cast-on 70sts done and just started working back on part 5 round/row 3, with the K2 kf&B repeat.

Done all the swirl shaping and short rows, just have to finish the widening garter section on the 2nd mitten.
