Instructions:
Cast on 28 stcs on 4 mm needles
2 inches of 1x1 rib
Knit 2 rows with 5 mm needles
On row 3, (K7, M1R) x4
Add thrums every three rows starting on row 1 of first repeat of thumb gusset
On row 1 of first repeat of thumb gusset, M1R at end of row and add thrum to that stitch
After thumb gusset, continue in pattern until mitten is 3.75 inches long from thumb gusset and then start decreasing
