Based the measurements off the baby duck jacket planning to do a raglan, then deciding to do buttons on shoulder as initially planned for the marinière and then winging contiguous sleeves from the bottom up just because
Ended up with puffed sleeves as I had way too many stitches for sleeves in the end but for a baby that’s actually quite cute. So I left it that way rather than ripping it out and redoing
For a first try and knit in one go not bad at all!
Knit Notes

Put everything on one needle, setting aside 8 underarm sts on each side.

Bo centre 22sts (14sts remaining each side), cont sleeve dec ev row.
Bo 3sts on ws (neckline).
On next rs dec 2sts for each sleeve dec.
Dec 1st on rs/ws (neckline).
\@10sts left each front side cont sleeve decs + front neck decs + bo center 28sts at back (rs), 12sts remaining each back side.
Cont sleeve decs, skip front neckline decs (on ws), bo 2sts on back neckline (ws): 9 - 7 - 9.
Next row (rs): dec 1st back + sleeve + front neckline, additional centered dec each sleeve: 8 - 3 - 8.
Next row (ws): centered dec for sleeve: 8 - 1 - 8.
3-needle bo from inside on one side.
