This is typical for me…row count is always just a little lower than pattern gauge. Going with needle sizes called for in pattern.

Completed to bind off but measured to only 6.25” length. This is a typical issue for me as my stitch count tends to come out spot on but my row count is usually 1 round short over 4”, which isn’t quite enough to go down a needle size and throw the stitch count off.
Frogged back to last eyelet round and completed another repeat for 4 eyelet rounds total to add just about 1.25”. Hat finished to measurements.
