I made these last minute for a lady at the gym who’s pregnant.

I used a DK instead of doubling up on fingering weight. It’s the same gauge.

I actually knit them all in one piece. Instead of binding off, I just kept on knitting. Hard to explain… but there are far fewer ends to deal with if you can manage to do it all in one piece.

I also made i-cords for the laces and I omitted the embroidery due to the already variegated yarn.
