33-36 Experiment - left = GSR short rows, right = FLK. No noticeable diff. Grafted them together and made a heel. These were one-pass short rows.
37-38 scalloped edge - similar seen elsewhere as Mexeira stitch pattern
39-40 purl Soho “newsprint” b&w (cream) scarf stripes without purl blip on inside k2R MC, k1R CC in
41-42 tidy start for dblknit hem. This also has a couple rows 1x1.
43 knit flat while joined in round; e.g., intarsia in round.
44-45* triangles (& into squares if carried further) like grandmother’s dishcloth. Experimenting with what shape occurs depending where increase is placed, and how many increases. Shawl shapes are also good examples.

47 Accidental buttonholes. While working out a pattern, I did RLI,k1,LLI all in one stitch, & it created a tidy buttonhole (decreased by one at each end to keep a consistent number of stitches).
