Notes

Simple experiment to figure out how to chart two separate designs, one per side.

Photos 1 & 2: Tubular cast on with one color. Kitchener bindoff after 2 rows of single color double knit. 1 set of selvedge sts at each edge. Selvedge: cross old over new on 1st set. (K1YB, SL 1 both YF) on last set.

The 2 photos are two sides of one piece of knitting, each side being different.

Photos 3 & 4: Tubular cast on with two colors. Kitchener bindoff after 3 rows of single color double knit. 2 sets of selvedge sts at each edge. Selvedge: cross old over new on 1st set. (K1YB, SL 1 both YF) on last set.

Again, the 2 pieces are two sides of one piece of knitting, each side being different. (If done with normal mirroring, the “K” would be backward on side 2.)

Note shows how I charted it - last chart with A-B notation is easiest to knit from.

All would look better with smaller needle, but it’s just a test.
