I had to hibernate this project for several months. About a month after starting it, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I thought originally I would be able to get lots of knitting done with all of my down time, but it was quite the opposite. The chemo made it so I couldn’t concentrate and it affected my vision as well. I was able to pick it back up about a month after chemo was over. I’m so glad it’s done.

The yarn I used was some alpaca I picked up at a local Alpaca Farm called Wandering Fox. It is the natural color of the alpaca, Nimbus. No dyes.

The pattern was great and easy to follow. I made a few errors, of course in the lace sections, but overall it might not be visible to the untrained eye.
