Notes

I made these slippers for my great-niece for Christmas. Following the pattern, the heal part turned out too wide and they just looked odd. Could have been because I used two strands of worsted weight yarn (stash), or just my gauge. So I adjusted the pattern. What I ended up doing was casting on 18 stitches, and knitting 16 rows of the first section doing K10 in the middle section (eliminating the first decrease section). The 16 rows was to adjust to the length of Reya’s foot. Then I did the last decrease as described and seamed. This alteration seemed to make for a better shaped slipper. I added a few pom pom’s and puff paint to the bottom of the foot and we have adorable slippers!
