I used acrylic yarns in solid colors from my stash to complete this fun project. Amounts were about one full skein (6 oz size) for each color. I started out using some yarn (the first off-white and greenish color) that, although marked as 4, were thinner than the rest of the yarn I had. This is why I ended up with fewer rows for each color as I progressed. I like the effect though, in keeping with the feel of ocean waves breaking on a shore. Lovely pattern to work with!
