Caleb loves black. I might need to have my head examined for knitting with this very fuzzy black yarn!

Body (flat, no stuffing) is about 7” across. This is going to be bigger than I expected. All to the good.

So, the safety eyes I ordered are too small (12 mm diam). I’m also not sure of the placement, since no suggestions were given. Breaking them off and using buttons instead. Otherwise I think the head will look way too creepy! Hahaha!

Simple (and vintage!) brown buttons are much better.

Made a bow tie, stitched it securely to itself and to the bear so it will not come untied.
