Toe up, two short circs

Making these longer in the leg to use up the yarn.

Double sock blanks are great in principle but a PITA in reality. Just sayin’ The two strands get twisted as the blank is unraveled so winding the second strand (of really kinky yarn) tries my patience. I wound the second strand into a proper cake. I wanted the color striping to go the same direction with a center pull ball, requiring a two step process when winding the yarn from the outside in with a ball winder. That was tedious too, but ultimately worth it.

I would classify this yarn as a light fingering. Tends to be splitty and has a cottony feel. Blocking ought to even out the stitches and surface.

Pattern’s simplicity is quite nice. Quick to knit. A pleasure to see taking shape.
