My first KAL, ever!

My gauge was a little off, so I decided to cast on 64 sts on 2,0 mm DPN needles.

Also, instead of using contrasting colour yarn for the leg part, I made a texture with alternating garter st and stockinette rows. It doesn’t look that good right now but it will once blocked.

I frogged! frog
I had almost finished and tried it on to see how long I had to go before starting on the toes decreases when I realized that it would be too small. That yarn is a little stiff and it does not procure enough give for a comfortable fit.

Sooooo…

I started over, casting on 64 sts on 2,25mm on my ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular instead of 60 sts on HiyaHiya 2,00mm DPNs.

It’s also my first time knitting socks on circulars in magic loop. OMG!! I’m sold! What a difference! Doing the 1x1 ribbing on 2,00mm DPNs felt so awkward and it hurt my hands. On the circular, I could knit for hours without stopping; they are so amazing!
