I had made this one for my daughter-in-law a few years back, but the arm holes are very tight and I was not experienced enough to make appropriate modifications to the pattern.

This time, I made two additional repeats of the raglan, as suggested in the pattern (which I had done the first time too), but I also casted on 4 additional stitches under each arm, getting a total of 248 stitches (for the L size) instead of 240. I then decreased by one stitch every other row of the underarm, four times.

I chose the slightly fitted style, and I’m quite pleased with the fit.

I would have made it slightly longer, but I did not have enough yarn left, only 7g. But maybe it will be alright once blocked.
