A couple of years ago, I made the first version of this, and I wasn’t satisfied. The garter stitch, while providing a nice look on both sides of the fabric, was too limp and saggy for my taste. I put it aside, thinking that I would try again eventually.

Being confined home with the COVID-19 crisis, I thought it was the perfect time to try again, with all the people being sick and in the hospitals.

This time, I wrote the pattern as I went, fresh in my memory. Wise old girl!
