Notes

Beautiful Portuguese wool bought in Lisbon at Retrosaria Rosa Pomar for a dramatic shawl to go with my grey winter coat.

This has been hibernating while I work on my sister’s birthday sweater, but I pulled it out today to take some photos while it’s in progress. I’d forgotten how tightly I had been knitting the inner border - it’s really curling! - but I hope a good blocking will make that less dramatic.

Finished! I’ve woven in the ends. It needs a good blocking but that will have to wait until I have an apartment again. Great pattern and a wonderful yarn. Final weight ~170-175 grams.
