23 July 2018 -- I knitted the front section a couple inches shorter than the pattern suggests and so also went to rip the back section back a couple inches to match. Today I finished knitting the right side panel and sleeve. On to the left side panel!

Will I finish by July 29, in time to join the Pompom summer 2018 KAL?! Time will tell!

Queue Notes

My first ever make from a Pom Pom Quarterly. Also my second make where I’ve bought the exact yarn recommended in the pattern. I’ve bought 4 skeins each colour Berroco Corsica (colours Shark Eye and Cork) and think I’ll be making a size 2. My bust is 88 cm and with 10-20 cm positive ease that puts me in a size 2 or 3 range, but I also have a relatively gentle tension, so maybe 2? Anyway, I think I’ve got enough yarn to do a proper swatch (imagine that!!)

Successfully washed in a mesh wash bag on a gentle cycle in a washing machine as the ‘cork’ colour was getting a little too off-white for my comfort.
