Fun story with this sample! It was the first piece of New Girl that I knit and despite swatching the colorwork, after knitting the ENTIRE thing, I decided that my first choice at the waistband was NOT perfect. So, I cut my gown above the waistband, knit the new colorwork (what you see now!) and then grafted the finished skirt back on. Perfectionism! Will be blogging about this and sharing some pics as well, but I adore how it turned out.
