Mods: long tail co, then knit 2 rows of Latvian braid instead of the picot edging.

I decided to make the liner (using the kidsilk haze) starting at the base of the palm, instead of lining the entire mitten. Made liner by casting on 60 sts on size 1s.  Used afterthought thumb (8 sts) and started decreases just before the length of the outer mitten (so they would fit inside). Picked up the afterthought sts (15 total) plus 3 extra on inner side and 2 extra on outer side.  k2tog at each corner of thumb on the next row (total 18). Tacked at tips of mitten and thumb, whipstitched at wrist. 

I HIGHLY recommend making a liner for these. Even on the first mitten, which I had picked some of the floats with, was getting stuck on my rings. Plus the liner is like sticking my hand in a warm soft cloud! I love them!

Note on the pattern, which isn’t well addressed: you cast on extra stitches after putting the thumb onto scrap. This will make the wrist tighter, as it is something like 6 sts smaller than the hand. 
I would’ve used size 00 had I been aware of this, as the wrist is a bit tight when pulling it over my thumb.

Ripped out just before the beginning of the flower and started again with 00s…I am going to line these because of the LONG floats that I don’t feel like picking.
