I started knitting size 2, on 3.5mm, tried it on halfway down the yoke and it was too big.
So, it was in the frog pond whilst I tested Shaun Lite…

I started again, this time size 1, on 3.25mm, then added the extra increases to end up with size 2 at sleeve separation.
I only did 2 increase rounds on the body, as I don’t have any hips, but apart from that I followed the pattern as written, for both body and sleeves.

Measurements before blocking:
Bust, 37”
Inside sleeve, 18.5”
Length, from top of shoulder, next to neck, 22.5”

My swatch stretched a bit, so it should be perfect after blocking.

The yarn, what can I say? It was a much treasured gift from Stanette when we first met up in 2022, and has been in stash waiting for the right pattern…and now I’ll be thinking of her when I wear it. I’ve never felt anything like it, it’s like a soft, cuddly blanket. Absolute luxury.
It’s definitely more a sport weight, and feels really warm.
A bit thick/thin in places, so it doesn’t have great stitch definition, but loads of character.
I think this pattern was the perfect choice!
