I wanted to make this in the black cashmere/silk (top swatch), but it was so hard to see the stitches in the textured pattern, even knitting a small swatch was hard work.
The Geilsk is very soft…looks like that’s the winner…

After giving my first Summertide away, I decided to use the Geilsk for another one, for me, but I didn’t have quite enough left to finish both Summertide and La Storia. I was only half a ball short, but the yarn’s been discontinued.

So, I decided to use the cashmere/silk after all, but there was no way I could see the textured pattern to check for any mistakes, so I made it plain.

I do love it like this anyway…the pattern works perfectly with or without the texture.

All knitted to pattern, although the yarn is slightly thinner than recommended I still got gauge…although it shrunk a bit in width after blocking. It’s also semi see through, so I have to be careful what I wear underneath…

Now I’m going to have to stash dive for another one with the textured pattern…
