Update: I found I wasn’t reaching for this sweater to wear that much because it was too cropped to go with most of my outfits, so I did some sweater surgery. I picked up stitches on a long circular needle just above the ribbing, then I picked up a round of stitches on another set of circulars above that, with one round of stitches in between. I cut into a stitch in the round in between and unpicked the yarn to separate the two halves. Then I added 3” (26g) more texture repeats to the bottom of the body. Finally, I Kitchener stitched the ribbing back on.
