Modifications:
- I modified the neckline to be rounded (more on that below).
- I didn’t do the eyelet detail down the sides of the body.
- Instead of the i-cord edging on the hem, I added 16 rounds of ribbing with one size smaller needle with a single strand of mohair.
- Instead of the i-cord edging on the sleeves, I added 8 rounds of stockinette, and then 8 rounds of ribbing with one size smaller needle with 2 strands of mohair held together.
- Instead of thd i-cord edging around the neckline, I did 8 rounds of ribbing with one size smaller needle with 2 strands of mohair held together.
Rounded neckline mod, without giving away any numbers from the paid-for pattern:
“Yoke, Step One” is basically split into two parts; first you work Rows 1-4 10 times, and then you work Rows 3-4 8 times.
I worked Rows 1-4 10 times as written, but then on the next four rows, I cast on 4 new stitches at the end of the row (this number may have to be modified for other sizes though), then I joined to work in the round, and then continued doing the increases and YOs every other round like I would have if I was still knitting it flat.
Then I proceeded to “Yoke, Step Two” and skipped the beginning part about joining since I’d already done it.
