This took about 4 hours but part of that was spent trying to decide how to connect the I-cords. I made three 4-stitch I-cords about 28 inches long, joined them on the cast-on end by tying them together and sewing on a button; joined on the bind-off end (put all live stitches on DP needles, knitted around once, knitted 2 stitches together around once and bound off) and crocheted a loop for the button.

I like how it looks. It is made from the variegated yarn used on the Match and Move I made Becky but because of the way the colors fall it made stripes on the I-cord. I liked the fact that the purple showed up a lot more on this project than it did in the shawl (better than in this picture too!). I also liked that braiding the three cords together broke up the striping a little bit. It was actually pretty fun to make.
