Chickadee holds stitch’s shape really well, so I think this yarn was quite fit to this lovely pattern. This Dogwood color is just a bit muted pink. It is pretty but not too girly. I am so in love with this pattern and this yarn. I may knit some more pairs, including for myself!

I used US4 needles to knit XS size for my mother. When I am going to knit for myself, I may use US4 for the wrist part and knit the rest with US5.

CO 40 sts.
Ribs: 12 rounds.
Thumb gusset increase: Increase every other row, with m1r and m1l, till 17 sts increase. Separate the thumb gusset after working 7 more rounds.
Repeat the pattern 6 times total、 from the wrist to the top.
Top ribs: 3 rounds.
Thumb: knit 4 rounds, then add ribs 3 rounds.

案外簡単に編める、とても可愛いパターン。Quince&CoのChickadeeは、Finchと同じく弾力性があって編み易く、編み目の形崩し難くホールドしてくれるので、このパターンにピッタリだと思います。Dogwoodは、サンプル・カードで見るととても薄い桃色で、逆にカセで見ると結構はっきりしたピンクにも見えますが、いざ編んでみるとそんなに派手でなく、大人の女性にも甘くなり過ぎない優しい色だと思います。色も毛糸もこのパターンにぴったりの物が選べて良かったです。あんまり可愛いので、あと二つくらい編みたい気分。
