I bought these yarns online. When they arrived, they all looked quite similar than I imagined. In order to make a good contrast, I decided to use #370 from outside and #364 from inside. I hope it would be a good decision…!

I cast on 39 stitches as Jared did. After that, I followed the Telola’s comment from the pattern.

Starting with #370, I use #364 from inside and #370 from outside.

CO 33 sts with first color
Row1: K1 P1, repeat to the end,K1
Row2: Sl 1st st purlwise wyif,K1 P1 to the end, Sl last st wyif
Add 2nd color, repeat K1P1 ribbing. On second row of second color sl 1st st purlwise wyif, K1P1 ribbing to end, sl last st wyif. Bring first color up and begin next two rows of ribbing. Rinse and repeat and you have beautiful scarf!

一目ゴム編みで、2段毎に毛糸玉を変えるだけというシンプルさだけに、毛糸の色で出来上がりに差が出ると言えます。変にぶつかり合うような色の組み合わせにはならなかったし、私の好きな色系が代わる代わるに出て来るので、とりあえずは満足です。

デザイン的には、明るめの色と暗めの色を選ぶと、もっとハッキリとしたコントラストが出て良かったのかな、と思います。

マフラーの端の編み上がりを綺麗にするために、二段目を編む時に一番最初と最後の目はすべり目(slip)をすると良い、という事です。すべり目(sl 1st)をする時は、毛糸を手前に持ってきて(wyif)、針は裏編み方向(purlwise)に入れます。
