I have begun a project to make a dozen baby blankets out of my stash before I buy any more yarn so that I can see how silly it is to keep so much of it!

I have adapted the instructions for the Mason Dixon log cabin technique to crochet because I have found that crochet is quicker and uses more yarn! LOL

I am using a half double crochet stitch throughout and each log is 7 rows tall. My first log was a square of 20 stitches by 17 rows.

I am using the Vanna yarn in cream, gray, brown, blue, med. teal, and dark teal.

I have added some Hobby Lobby I Love this Yarn acrylic in green and brown and they seem to match great in weight and texture.

I am loving this blanket and will definitely make more as a part of this dozen blankets.
