Rep Rnds 1 and 2 seven more times. 56 sts. Change to Lambeau and work even in St st until sock measures about 8 inches.

Start Ribbing: *K1, p2, k1; rep from * to end.
Work in Ribbing for 8 inches.

Heels: measure the foot length minus 1 5/8 inches (the length of the toe) on the foot of the sock. Beginning at the center, cut and unravel 28 sts. Place 56 live loops on needles and attach green

Rnd 1: Knit.

Rnd 2: *K1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1; rep from * three more times. 4 sts dec’d on each sock.

Rep Rnds 1 and 2 seven more times. 24 sts. Graft rem sts using Kitchener stitch.
