5/13 First sleeve done!

5/10 Five skeins in. The sleeve is fun! I much prefer the antler cable to the honeycomb.

5/5 Wow the separated back and front went really quickly! On to sleeves! (Am I done honeycombing? Whew!)

5/4 Four skeins in. Finished the separated back section and starting the front.

4/30 Knitting by the river on a school field trip.

4/28 Three skeins in!

4/23 Two skeins in, with azaleas and my friend’s dog. I learned that if I slip the stitches from the cable needle back onto the left needle before I knit them the honeycomb section is easier.

Now at 38-40” around unstretched which is good. The honeycomb section is so tight to cable and I dread it.

4/17 End of first skein. I feel like this should have gone further? I guess cables really eat yarn. I think I’ve got like 11 of these so hopefully that will be enough.

This is much smaller than it’s supposed to be—maybe 38” around at most—so I’m going to switch from sixes to sevens. I don’t want to rip out what I’ve done so hopefully I can just block out any size difference.

This was helpful for about five minutes until I realized I didn’t need it anymore.
