Andromeda LOVES yarn--but she’s a bit too young to do anything with it. Her passion is so great that she can also be a bit destructive to skeins.

So I thought I would knit her some “Arn Balls” of her own, and give her a small starter stash that she can build on in a few years when she has more dexterity and Auntie Helen teaches her finger knitting and gives her a Knitting Nancy as a precursor to teaching the real thing!

My first prototype was based on the 10 stripe baby ball, but I didn’t love the look or the seaming. So I tried again with a simple increase/decrease construction and was much happier with the results--and the fact that there are only two ends and no seaming!
