Lil has kindly agreed to be my post receptacle for VY kits now that I’m unable to order as myself. I was showing her the fruits of my obsession (kits and patterncards) and told her to let me know if she likes any in particular, as I have more sweaters, hats, shawls, &c than I need already but obviously am NOT going to stop knitting them, so I’m always looking for another victim to knit for. She mentioned she liked this set!

Having finished the body of Marie’s Elizabethan Jacket I realized the sleeves will be perfect for taking on my December travel (lots of knitting, but only 3 colors of yarn) so I’m knitting a few smaller things in the meantime. I finished the Witch Hare mittens, and am now working on these!

I cast on while in Arlington for Thanksgiving and had brought the wrong needle sizes, so I’m just going with it. My normal gauge on size 3 needles is too big anyway, so I think it’ll be fine.
