I’d intended to start this last Christmas but kept getting distracted by other things (coughAndromedacough)

I’ve finally cast on and am really looking forward to knitting this!! I’m going to use the dimensions of the Strathglass I knit years ago, as Aunt Col wears it all the time and it’s still a good fit.

04-19-2025

Start armhole steeks on 18th round of 4th repeat; per Strathglass no shaping, just put one center stitch on scrap yarn for each arm and cast on steek stitches.

05-23-2025

Sleeves: pick up 135 + stitch on hold =136 sts.
Establish pattern: last st chart E, E x 8, C, D, C, E x 8, first st E
Dec 1st of every 4 rnds x 33
This should get through 5 full pattern repeats. K 1 rnd limpet. Change to smaller needles and work one ridge Calluna, then chart A (right sleeve) or B (left sleeve).

Ha. I just realized I’ve knit all of Chart C on the sleeves, not just the wiggly lines. Oh well, I’m not going to rip out this sleeve--I think it looks nice!
